Hi there, I set up a simple drupal site to collect all the school information
http://onesiteperschool.drupalgardens.com/content/school-list-started-and-ready
if anyone is interested in joining and helping add in schools to the
database, you are welcome. I want to add in also the facebook pages
and the location of each school.
this database can be used for all countries. After we collect the data
we will want to contact the schools and also help them get websites if
they dont have them.

Alive, well it is sleeping. I started with it, you can use it.
Collecting a list of schools, I think that facebook is really doing the best job for this, but it is a lot of work.

I would also take a look at this

It was costing about 20,000 EUR and we didn't go to donors with the project yet. Would be nice to share the development costs of this. One of these days I'll share the project writeup with you.
