A long and really in-depth discussion with Bunnie Huang about the things
he learnt in building and selling the Chumby.
Cheers,
Adrian.

Just an update on the bike pump pledge:
http://wiki.doesliverpool.com/PledgeBikePump
Apparently Aldi will have one for a fiver this week. I'm going to check it out and get it if it seems sturdy enough, if not I'll get one from Clas Ohlson for £15. I'll also get a bike repair kit from Clas Ohlson for a few quid. So by the end of the week we should have both and it'll cost £10-20.

And another link to add to the mix
<http://people.ece.cornell.edu/land/courses/ece4760/FinalProjects/s2012/cwm55/cwm55_mj294/index.html>
- includes a schematic that doesn't look too complicated to build.

Surely we're a 3D printing community - it was the community that put the
CupCake together! :-)
Cheers,
Adrian.

Hi,
We are inviting you to participate on a survey on individuals and
communities doing 3D printing:
http://surveys.peerproduction.net/ls/index.php?sid=51743.
The survey contains 20 questions, and typically it takes less than 5
minutes to complete. The survey is intended to give insights about 3D
printing communities to the people doing the printing, and we hope that
this will help in motivating you to take the time to participate!
The survey is a part of a newly founded initiative for open source
research on peer production (supported by the Peer to Peer Foundation,
more info at http://surveys.peerproduction.net/). All of the
(anonymised, of course!) data will be openly available on the survey site.
The questions have been prepared by Jarkko Moilanen and Tere Vadén and
the results with their analysis will be published during 2012.
For further information and questions (or if you want to help with the
survey or with peer to peer research more generally), contact
jar...@peerproduction.net or tere....@aalto.fi
Cheers,
Jarkko (IRC nick: kyyberi),
