Image/Video attachment support dropped in Disqus 2012?

Hi All,

I'm on a fence about switching 'cause I can't figure out this one item that's important to me. I am using images rather extensively in my community (and videos sometimes, too). But I've tried every example of Disqus 2012 I came across and cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach pictures.

Has image support been simply dropped from the list of Disqus features? I cannot find any specific mention of images anywhere in Disqus 2012 FAQs.

Please advise.

We are working on adding media attachment support to Disqus 2012. Should be ready in near future.

OK, that's pretty cool.

So, can you make sure we won't be forced to switch over to D-2012 until the image and other media attachment support is ready?

We don't plan to force people to switch to Disqus 2012.
