I think this is a bug: I have ticked 'Disable Like Buttons' in my
disqus settings.

Like buttons don't show anywhere on the desktop version of the site
that I can see. However in iOS, there is a 'thumb' link style button
to the left of the 'reply' button on peoples comments.

Just thought you should know.

Kind Regards,
Will

Is there somewhere better I can report this, or is the mailing list
the correct place?

Hi William,

Apologies for missing this earlier - we've opened a ticket for this bug and should have it resolved soon. Thanks for telling us.

Hi Ben,

No worries, thanks for logging it!

I found another issue with iOS, can you log this in your system too please?

Bug: In Mobile Safari on iOS, the disqus_callback() is not called when Disqus has loaded.

Test case (add this to your disqus page's javascript):
function disqus_callback(){
alert("hello disqus_callback");
}

Expected results:
Desktop browsers and iOS browsers display a message

Actual results:
Only dekstop browsers display a message

Kind Regards,
Will

Hey Will,

Do you have an example site where you're not seeing disqus_callback being fired on iOS?

I just played around with Apple's iPhone Emulator and it seems to fire for me.

Hey Ben,

I look at this today on an iPad2 and iPhone4 and I'm not seeing this
issue – the disqus_callback is being fired every time. Perhaps my
test case last week was buggy.

Thanks for taking a look, sorry if I wasted your time.

Kind Regards,
Will
