For that reason access to the APL wiki is read-only until further
notice. For a short space of time the wiki won't be visible at all.

Please note that shortly after the 24th of December the APL wiki is
going to relocate on a new server. For that reason it won't be
available for a day or two then.

This is the first I've heard of the wiki. I looked it
up and Google and it looks pretty nice. One suggestion:
how about adding a NARS2000 section to the Open Source
area? A freeware APL seems like a good way to introduce
people to the language and let them play with it a little
to familiarize themselves with its capabilities, and it
would be good to have some freeware to go with the
interpreter to serve as examples of APL source code.

Sorry for the delay, it seems that Google does not support c.l.a any
longer with their Reader software.

Oh dear. That means that we still have to improve on marketing.

I agree with that. That's why you see "Open Source APL: NARS2000" in
the "Highlights" box on the front page which we considered being a
prominent place. The probblem is that thematically a link on the "APL
Open Source Library" doesn't fit on that page.
Since it is a wiki, linking is probably less important than the
ability to find it. What makes me crazy is that searching for "Open
Source APL" doesn't find the "Open Source APL: NARS2000" page at all.
I am going to report a bug in MoinMoin...

Please explain.
I use google daily to read news and c.l.a is one of them
That worked fine for years but has stopped working quite a while ago,
and I haven't noticed so far.
The last posting listed is from December 2008, but it worked longer
than that.
Yes, I know, but to follow up a newgroup is much harder this way. RSS
is the way to go!
I bet it is easy to create an APL application to receive RSS.
I know there are J application that do it.
The next J beta is going all in for Webbased.
??
This is not about _receiving_ RSS; obviously RSS is not supported any
longer by c.l.a

You are correct.
