I have 2 jibs for a 27.7 that I can part with if anyone is interested.
One is a 150% (really) rolling furling Genoa made by Harstick Sails
about 12 years ago. The sailcoth is in great shape, no rips, stains
etc. The sun covering is white and for some reason has puckered, so
there are lots of small tight creases that have appeared in it. It
rolls up fine, and I don't think it will have any impact on the
effectiveness of the sun shield, though it looks a little shabby if
you look closely. (At a distance, the whole sail just looks-- well,
white.) The sail also has a foam inset along the luff to help keep
the shape when partially furled. The dimensions are luff, tack to
head, 34'3" leech, clew to head, 32'7", foot, tack to clew, 16'2". I
have photos so if you are interested, please let me know and I can
email those to you.
I also have a working jib that is probably 20 years old. Cloth seems
ok, though there are some tan stains in a few places. Dimensions are
luff, tack to head, 29'6"; leech, clew to head, 26'9", and foot, tack
to clew, 10'6". I've never the used sail myself, and I might want to
hold onto it as an emergency jib, but if you are interested let me
know and we can talk about it. I also have photos of it that I can
email. I haven't mentioned prices for either sail and would rather
work that out once we are in touch. Thanks!

Joe,

Not interested with the sails, but interested with seeing a few pics of your boat. I also have a B27.7 (#4) and can't find much info on it. Just curious to see your setup.

Thanks!

Mark
