Hydrangeas

I am looking at planning a trip to the Azores next year and I want to go when the hydrangeas are going to be in full bloom.  Does anyone know when that typically is?  Thanks.

I've been there in July and August and they were blooming then.

Here is a picture link of the hydrangeas on Flores.  It states that they are in full bloom in the summertime.  My cousin went on a cruise of the Azores last year and said it was wonderful!  The cruise only ran through the summer months through September.

I was in Sao MIguel on the first week of August with my sister in law
(who had never been there before).
Hydrangeas were everywhere! She was in awe and couldn't stop taking
pictures of them.

Debbie, what cruise operator did your cousin use there in the Azores?  Was it a good experience for them?

Hydrangeas bloom late summer. I have quite a few in my yard. They love morning sun, late afternoon shade and are a bordering shrub-loves protection by walls, houses, etc.

 

They are beautiful over there.
