The reports work well. You can also use File/Export. The following
dialog is displayed:
Change the Output format to GEDCOM 5.5 and then click on "Selected
individuals". The following dialog is displayed:
Find the person you want to start from and then click on the
"Descendants>" button. All descendents will be listed on the
right.
Click "OK" if it has all of the people you want to be exported.
Check the options on what you want exported. For example, to not
export living people, check the box next to "Privatize living
people". Click "OK".
You'll now get to customize the file a bit further. Use the drop
down to select which version of FTM your cousin is using. If they
aren't using FTM, then select "Other". Leave the character set as
UTF-8 (this will get all the special characters (e.g. Conceição,
Picanço, Espínola).
Go ahead and attach the resulting GEDCOM file to an e-mail and
send.
