Fire On 104 Ave/Sign Torn Down On 108Ave

13932 104 Ave in Surrey. The smoke could be smelt from a block away
and was put out by the resident of 13932 using a gardenhose and by the
crew of a fire truck. A number of RCMP also responded. Three ppl of
Asian descent watched the activities from across the st from one of
the balconies of the students residence located there. This happened
around 11:30 pm yesterday. The lot has some trees and lots of grass
and bushes.
Someone has removed the development proposal sign from the 108th Ave
side of the proposed 08-112 development which will destroy the
parkland at Gateway Station. The sign has been tagged in black felt
with an illegible scrawl, METH and Opposse This Development--Contact
The Mayor. The sign was removed from the area and the 2x4s that
supported it were left behind on the ground. There is another sign on
another part of the park. Yesterday a group of men and women were
playing volleyball there and others were walking or relaxing on the
grounds. This will all be lost if this development goes ahead. There
is other property in the area that can be developed including just
across the st. from Gateway station.

this is taking place. This park is a great asset to the community and
this development should be cancelled.
Contact these ppl and tell them you want this development which will
destroy parkland cancelled.

The house between 13710 and 13734 108 Ave in Surrey across from Hindi
Movie Hut
continues to be the only household in the neighbourhood not to have a
house number let alone one visible from the st. Two vehicles parked
there one a red pickup with HA on the plate. Mobile home as well. Just
because they are HA are they exempt from muni by-laws?
Let Surrey Council know you want them to enforce the by-laws in Surrey
regardless whether the ppl breaking the by-law are Abdul and Melissa
Sharif or HA gangbangers.
One local media outlet has stated that a motorcycle gang was
responsible for the worst homicide in Surrey history. You would think
the police and authorities would use this as an excuse to crackdown on
these miscreants but instead they are letting it go in this case.
The Mayor and council should be helping crackdown on law breakers and
gangs and should make sure the by-laws are enforced. Your home and or
business has a street number visible from the st so why should these
ppl be immune from the laws you are subject to? The elected officials
in Surrey should be preserving parkland that the citizens use and
forcing ppl involved in the criminal lifestyle to obey the laws. They
shouldn't go ahead with development proposal 08-112 and they should
make sure the house across from Hindi Movie Hut has a legal house
address on it. Please contact them if you agree and let them know

It is also ridiculous that Development Proposal No.08-112 is not
listed anywhere on the Surrey web site. Every development proposal
should be listed on the web site with al the particulars. It makes it
seem like the developer has something to hide.
