There once was a hunter, three hounds and a fox
and around and around they chased the fox
and in the middle a little spider was there
and the hunter fell and was bit in the middle
and around and around the fox and the hounds
and they spiraled around and laid right down
together as friends covering the hunter
and they made amends and the hunter
lived and they all lived happily in the end

the spider died though crushed by the hunter the hounds and the fox

Yes. I believe that you believe that posting a silly poem on
the usenet is magick.

That's why I am still here. Because you and your buddies know nothing about
magick.

The headers contained an authentication code.

Please feel free to follow up, or invite anyone else to do so.

It's not the usenet. It is USENET.

Yes, and royalties to Lerner and Loewe for use of the tune
from the song "C'est Moi!" in CAMELOT.

Sidiot! Sidiot!
As in a dream I heard that name:
Sidiot! Sidiot!
Calling me on to distant fame!
I take to my soul this name you give to me,
And all it implies I shall be!
A troll of the Internet should be impervious:
Stay dense where a less half-witted man could learn;
Answer posts that he's never read,
Even flame what himself had said,
Scuttle ship when he's hip-deep in the stern!
With lemons and limes all 'round he'll remain scurvious,
The kindest of offered hands he'll always bite;
But where in the world
Is there in the world
One so full of bile and spite?

C'est moi! C'est moi!
I'm forced to admit,
'Tis I, I humbly reply:
That moron who
These fumbles can do,
C'est moi, c'est moi, 'tis I!

Yep. So far, he hasn't bothered putting a demented spin on this evidence
he's presented himself. Maybe he believes that if he ignores it, it never
happened?

He does, by installing yet another brick in the wall of his self-delusions.

Er, no. Sorry. "nikkei shows" is a riff on "nike shoes".
Just a way to get flamebait/spam/loooongtitle threads
back under control with a little gentle humor and verse.

I'm sorry; if I understand what you're asking, there's nothing to
hint.

As I said to Damaeus re socks, no concurrent multiple IDs;
nothing even in the middling recent past. I've been off a while.

And given Sid's propensities, I'd prefer to keep it a clean break.

There is wisdom in that, something sidiot lacks. So, no more nudglings in
that regard and no outtings - other than the more enjoyable offline kind.

Well ren, it's been three days and we are still waiting for this alleged
'magick' do something besides sit there and look like a silly story written
by a second grader.

It is, of course, not going to do anything, like all of the other alleged
'magick' discussed by most of the people on this group and all of the
people who call themselves 'neo-pagans' of one brand or another, or
'ceremonial magicians' of one brand or another.

It's just theatre.

YOU are the one who said the story is magic, not Ren. Did that small
detail escape you, as so many others seem to do?

Of course, if you believe it to be so in your inner world, then it is
so in your outer world, right? Poor sidiot. It is so difficult to
pick a creed you can not only preach and rail about, but actually
stick to yourself.

Mmm, Hope, the thread is titled "...Example of Magick..." -- but I
read it
as an example of "the biter bit", how justice-inherent may emerge. See
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.religion.wicca/msg/dfecbc119b54f9cf
for a case of fox and hound encircling the hunter and making
amends....

Here's another bit of a tale for you, from A.E. Housman, of how even
the very poisonous may harm none but themselves with their venoms:

There was a king reigned in the East:
There, when kings will sit to feast,
They get their fill before they think
With poisoned meat and poisoned drink.
He gathered all that springs to birth
From the many-venomed earth;
First a little, thence to more,
He sampled all her killing store;
And easy, smiling, seasoned, sound,
Sate the king when healths went round.
They put arsenic in his meat
And stared aghast to watch him eat;
They poured strychnine in his cup
And shook to see him drink it up:
They shook, they stared, as white’s their shirt:
Them it was their poison hurt.
—I tell the tale that I heard told:
Mithridates, he died old.

True. The definition that sidiot uses for "magick" is quite
different, I believe, from the "justice-inherent" meaning. Thus he
sneers and whines, "I'm still waiting for something to HAPPEN!" He
demands some trick of "supernatural nature" be done *to* him, while
claiming to believe he controls his outer reality from *within.* He's
quite the conflicted little scamp.

Besides which, I should not post on three hours' sleep. ;-p

Did anyone promise him that he shouldn't have to wait?

I don't recall instant gratification being offered to him. Do you?

If, for the sake of argument, one were ever cruel enough to
curse someone to "die friendless and alone", it would hardly
make sense to just have him keel over then and there, right?

One pictures the grinning sap sitting right in that same spot,
year after year, "still waiting for something to HAPPEN!", as
he'd happily tell anyone, if anyone would stop to listen, or
come within range, or care, while he grows older and older.

Rather like Sidney Lambe in this moment... hmmmm....

Oh, but it IS happening, be it ever so slowly and subtly.
(Of course, nobody ever promised him FAST either!)
Well, believe what you will Sid.
While the outcome may be scarcely detectable in short term, the end
results will be the same.
Your mind is going Sid. You could stop it, even reverse it, but you
will refuse, deny, and continue the things that push you closer and
closer to your own self inflicted doom.
In the end, it will have been YOU who's "magic" did all the harm to
the one who did wield so foolishly the Sword of Damocles against
himself.

He still has not come up with even a flimsy excuse to explain why
"evergreen" nym-shifted to "Sidiot" when he posted his 'sarchasm' thread
recently.

Sometimes doing it that way let's the "inner reality" come out.
