Signs and Seals

Mat 16:4 “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and
no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Yonah.”
And He left them and went away.
The wicked seek signs and in the modern world many have been
constructed by the hands of men that tie in to the book of
Revelation. Obvious signs for all those who know what to look for are
hidden everywhere from the neighbourhood Masonic lodge to world
capitols and religious centers. These signs are clues to the depth of
deception swallowing the world who believe they are building
societies. The thing to remember is that all these signs are not for
us but for the wicked. The wicked will be given plenty of signs to
follow and follow they will but as followers of our heavenly Father,
we are to pay no credence to them.
Isa 45:20 “Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, you who
have escaped from the gentiles. No knowledge have they who are lifting
up the wood of their carved image, and pray to a mighty one that does
not save.
Scriptures tell us they don’t know a thing. The signs are misleading
and a dead end but it does help us to understand what the wicked have
planned and that they have laid plans.
Psa 74:4 Your adversaries have roared In the midst of Your meeting
places; They have set up their own signs as signs.

The only power of a sign is mass hypnosis. People believe the signs
and create the self fulfilling prophesies of these manufactured ideas,
created by other men. The signs we look for can’t be replicated by
men, so I don’t care about the “age of Aquarius”, new age signs
because they mean very little to me.
Isa 44:25 frustrating the signs of the babblers, and driving diviners
mad, turning wise men backward, and making their knowledge foolish,
Man made signs are nothing for us to be concerned about but what more
important is understanding that we are being tested as faithful to our
heavenly Father and trusting that he will provide.
Isa 48:10 “See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen
you in the furnace of affliction.
In the book of Revelations we have signs and seals.
Rev 12:3 And another sign was seen in the heaven: and see, a great,
fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on
his heads.
And a thousand different web sites are written about these passage and
I’m here to tell you, ignore them.
Jer 10:2 Thus said יהוה, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do
not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by
them.
Instead of looking for signs and seals, learn to look past the smoke
and mirrors because you are looking in the wrong direction when you
do. You’re being tested when signs appear.
Jer 32:20 ‘For You have set signs and wonders in the land of
Mitsrayim, to this day, and in Yisra’ĕl and among other men. And You
have made Yourself a Name, as it is this day.
He sets those signs of for spiritual Egypt and we only need one sign,
the sign of the Sabbath.
Eze 20:12 “And I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign1 between
them and Me, to know that I am יהוה who sets them apart.
If you start to think of your spiritual journey as going down the
highway of life, you realize that the road is cluttered with signs.
Now children spend time looking at all the signs and it’s not a bad
thing to do that but as the driver, you don’t spend your time focused
on signs when you know where your going. Signs are for those people
who are LOST and need help finding the right road to take:
Eze 21:21 “For the sovereign of Baḇel shall stand at the parting of
the way, at the fork of the two ways, to practise divination. He shall
shake the arrows, he shall ask the household idols, he shall look at
the liver.
The liver is the organ that purifies toxins from the blood.
Mat 7:13 “Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide –
and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many
who enter in through it.
Mat 7:14 “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which
leads to life, and there are few who find it. Footnote: 1Or the way is
afflicted.
Mat 7:15 “But beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s
clothing, but inwardly they are savage wolves. Footnote: 1See v. 23
Know the signs to look for and don’t get bogged down on signs and
seals that don’t concern you. It’s better to know the season. So
many people have become false prophets by proclaiming signs and saying
the end is near. They are not on the road but have been shaken from
the path. The way is hard pressed and dangerous, filled with wolves
and those who would devour you and waste your time with false signs.
Mat 24:37 “And as the days of Noaḥ, so also shall the coming of the
Son of Aḏam be.
The signs are already here...
Mat 24:42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Master
is coming.
Mat 24:43 “And know this, that if the master of the house had known
what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed
his house to be broken into.
Mat 24:44 “Because of this, be ready too, for the Son of Aḏam is
coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.
Mat 24:45 “Who then is a trustworthy and wise servant, whom his master
set over his household, to give them food in season?
Mat 24:46 “Blessed is that servant whom his master, having come, shall
find so doing.

I wanted to expand on this point because it’s of particular interest
to me. I’ve spent a lot of time in study of the sovereign of Babel.
Eze 21:22 “In his right hand shall be the divination for Yerushalayim:
to set up battering rams, to call for a slaughter, to lift the voice
with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to heap up a
siege mound, to build a wall.
Eze 21:23 “And it shall be to them as a false divination in the eyes
of those who have sworn oaths to them. But he is bringing their
crookedness to remembrance, so that they are taken.
Remember that I pointed out that we shouldn’t waste our time with
signs that man have built. Notice verse 23 speaks about false
divination and verse 21 says the arrows are shaken. You see, the
builders of the landmarks built them as signs of power but how ironic
that they built them based on faulty translations of scriptures.
Rev 13:17 and that no one should be able to buy or sell except he that
has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is the wisdom! He who has understanding, let him
calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and
his number is 666*.
Now it was either like this to add credence to the lie and make
another distraction (smoke and mirrors) or they just didn’t know.
Considering the esoteric knowledge, numerology and math that went into
building Washington’s monument, I find it hard to believe they didn’t
know the true sign of the beast.
You see, most Christians bowing before a cross, don’t realize that the
“stauros” = stake or green tree in which the Messiah was impaled upon,
was one beam. The cross is a pagan symbol that goes far back into
history. So when you look at the Washington Monument and it appears
to be a stake, it’s probably more symbolic of an implement of death.
The cross on the other hand:

We find it is historically a substitute for signatures. Are you ready

means 6 when it clearly means mark and is translated that way in other

Your ideas are in complete denial of all the prophets, the words of
the Messiah and the Commandment of Moses. You are still a part of the
false church Linda. Until you recognize the evil of hiding his true

alt.religion.christian.biblestudy. Why drag the post from
alt.bible.prophecy into all these groups when it added nothing since
the fact that it means 666 is stated in Rev. 13:18 - "his number is
666" unless you thought "You are onto something totally huge and
outrageous" was a serious comment that elevated you. (It is that sort
of self-lauding behavior that is nauseating and it is constant on your
part.) It must have been a sarcastic statement as anyone with access
to a Strong's correlated to a KJV Bible can see 666 in Rev. 13:18 is
from Strong's Gk. 5516 - chi xi stigma.
As to your initial question, all Hebrew and Greek letters had
numerical values associated with them, unlike the English alphabet
where a letter only represents a sound and not a number as well.
