What has happened that all of these posts to wirelessforums.org are showing
up in alt.internet.wireless?

Just about all of the for sale items, etc seem to have originated at
wirelessforums.org.

the newsgroup will have been hijacked by some admin from the website who
reckons a cheap way to provide "forum content" is to mirror the group
onto their site. Saves having to build up a /real/ customer base.

Look on the bright side, at least its topical-ish. Last week some idiots
working at a Canadian ISP decided to mirror uk.telecom.broadband and
label it as their support forum. You should have seen the flamewars.

"Forum Administrator" of wirelessforums.org:
