BEN HOLMES SAID:
I note for the record that you've not provided a citation of Carrico
describing the original bullet wound in JFK's throat as "ragged". ....
Either Bugliosi was correct, or he was not. If he was not, THEN YOU'RE
LYING. Carrico either did or did not describe the original bullet
wound in the throat as "ragged".
DAVID VON PEIN SAID:
For Pete sake, Holmes, I've said repeatedly that Bugliosi was wrong.
But he didn't lie. He was just wrong. What more do you want? Blood?
BTW,
There are several more examples of "brain cramps" in Mr. Bugliosi's
JFK book. Here are just a few (off the top of my head). I'm sure
you'll want to string Vince up by the nearest oak tree for these
gaffes too, right Benji?.....
1.) In a footnote on page 953 of "Reclaiming History", Vince says that
CE399 is the bullet that caused JFK's head wounds. Pretty big "brain
cramp" there, indeed. Was he "lying", Ben? Or can we agree that Vince
was merely mistaken there, and that Vince REALLY does know that 399
was the SBT bullet and not the "head shot" bullet?
And Vincent's embarrassment on this point was extended even more when
he actually read that passage of the book to an audience at the Sixth
Floor Museum in Dallas on May 24, 2007.
2.) Another brain cramp occurs when Vince says that CE399 was
initially examined at the Dallas crime lab on 11/22/63. Of course, the
bullet was never at the Dallas P.D. crime lab on 11/22 at all. It was
flown to Washington aboard Air Force One in the pocket of Richard
Johnsen. Should I insist Bugliosi was "lying" when he suffered that
brain cramp too, Holmes?
3.) On pages 423 and 424 of his JFK book, Bugliosi argues that JFK's
throat wound was located BOTH above AND below the upper-back wound.
More lies, Ben? Or will you admit that there is probably another
explanation (other than lying) that would explain Vincent's
embarrassing "above is also below" anomaly that exists on pages 423
and 424 of "Reclaiming History"?
