I know how to add the work menu button to Word, but I am
trying to figure out how to add the work menu to excel

Tools-Customize-Commands tab. In the list, select New Menu. Drag the icon in
the right box to wherever you want it, then rename it Work by right-clicking
on it.

XL doesn't implement a work menu like Word does.

I wrote an add-in long ago that does much the same thing, except it
uses a userform for deletions from the menu. It's sized for Mac, and
includes a couple of workarounds for VBA6 functions. It's not been
rigorously tested, but it's worked for a long time in XL98, XL2001
and XLv.X.

The code is open and I haven't updated it, so please stifle the
