Hi all,
I have Excel 2000. When I use data Validation, the Stop dialog box that
opens where it says Retry and Cancel seems to be not functioning properly as
clicking Retry brings no response.
Anyone else having this problem?
The Cancel button works fine.

Hi again,
I can't find a reply to this problem. If someone did, could they please
post again?

When you state "no response" does this mean the alert message box stays there?
Does the Retry button look depressed?

I use Xl97 and cannot replicate this problem you have. Been hanging around
these Excel NG's a while and don't recall this coming up.

Not much assistance, but stay with us, someone might have an answer.

Thanks Gord,
Clicking the button depresses it as normal. It does not stay depressed. But
nothing happens. The box stays there waiting for me to do something. So I
have to click cancel which closes the box and removes the incorrect data
from the cell ready for inputting of correct data.
I just tried it on a completely new workbook and the problem is the same.
