I don't use xl2003, but there have been posts by xl2003 users saying that this
xl2002 addin works ok in xl2003.

You may want to try downloading it again or post back with more information
about how it didn't work--download problems, installation problems, or actual
problems when running it.

ok, Dave I'll try to explain better in my poor english.

1 step - I downloaded from Microsoft page rptmgr.exe file to my disk.

2 step - I run rptmgr.exe

3 step - I tried to find in my disk where is report.xla but I couldnt
find, I dont know if rptmgr.exe was sucseffully. I did that several
times. Other problem is the rptmgr.exe doenst says where will install
reports.xla.

4 step - I tried to find from Excel going to Tools, add-in...or going
to View... but nothing.

I have excel 2003 and windows XP.
I see in rptmgr.exe properties all the operating system except XP.
I downloaded from another web page reports.xla directly, but when I run
says is corrupted.

Please, help me !
thank you for your support

Again, I don't use xl2003, but I downloaded rptmgr.exe.

I double clicked on my downloaded file and was prompted to see if I wanted to
really install it.

I clicked ok.

Then I was prompted to accept/decline the end user license argreement.

I clicked yes.

Then I was prompted for the folder to store this addin.

This was the suggested location for me (xl2002, again):
C:\MSOFFICE\OFFICE10\Library

If you don't get any of these prompts, I'm not sure your download was
successful.

You may want to try a different connection (at work maybe???) to get the
download.

Dave, thanks for all.
I tried to rename my folder with excel 03 from office11 to office10 but
never happens. I downloaded the *.exe from microsoft page so I suppose
was well.

But today I did other thing : I executed *.exe on friend pc who has
excel 02, and then I forwarded by email to my pc.
Finally I installed report.xla directly in my pc, and it works !!!!

thank you again.

It sure sounds like that download from the MS site got corrupted someway.

But glad you got it working.
