If there is text currently in a cell and you highlight it
then click on the double underline icon, it displays as a
double underline on screen, in print preview, and when you
print a hard copy. However, if you click the double
underline icon first, then type text into a cell, it
appears as a bold, single underline on screen and in print
preview but it will be a double underline when you print a
hard copy. Anyone else have this happen?

I could almost duplicate it. It always appeared as a solid line in print
preview, but it always looked like a double underline on the worksheet.

And it appeared the same way for both "Double" underlining and "Double
Accounting" underlining.

Maybe you could use the double bottom border, but use the borders icon and
choose the one you want--not the double bottom border icon itself.

That, too, has problems. The double bottom border does a single bottom border.

The double bottom border chosen from the dropdown of all the borders works ok,
though. (both on the worksheet and print preview.)
