International Handbook of Universities (IHU):
A supposedly authoritative and credible compilation of various schools
from across the world, "widely used by collegiate registrars and
admissions officers to evaluate schools" (from page 357 of the 14th ed
of the Bear's guide, and also all other editions). However, the hype
of the usefulness of IHU was questioned when Chip White reported that
"almost nobody ever took the IHU seriously."

John Bear has not provided an explanation (or an apology) on why he
made such a critical error, nor was this explained on his scam
websites.

Thanks Tim. Interesting link -- it's good to get some clarity on the lack
of value of a Berne degree.

Mr. Hassad has gotten very good mileage from his Berne University Ph.D. He
is a professor at Mercy College, as well as an adjunct for Touro University
International. It is unclear why either of those schools would hire someone
claiming a Ph.D. from a fake school operating without licensure or
accreditation.

Dear Muffin

Yes, I did. I provided a detailed explanation yesterday to this identical comment.

Boy, they must really be enjoying this in Bangkok, eh?
