Messanger tries to install journal viewer

Every time my wife tries to log into her profile on our xp
system an install dialog box for journal viewer pops-up
and is pointing to a temp directory that does not exist.
I tried to install all componants of office xp hoping this
would resolve but alas not. Help

Greetings,

Try this (you'll need to be logged into an account with administrative privileges to do
this):

First, download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/office2000pro/util20/1/NT4/EN-US/msicuu.exe

Run and install the program after you've downloaded it. After the setup is complete, click
Start, then All Programs, then Windows Install Clean Up.

Click Windows Journal Viewer and then click 'Remove'. Click 'OK' to the warning message that
comes up.
