However, today my SUS server is downloading the 129.2MB 'Windows 2000
Service Pack 4 Network Install for IT Professionals' as part of its
synchronisation.
Is this newly available functionality, or a screw-up? Is it safe to
release Win2k SP4 via SUS? Are there any side-effects to authorising
this for machines which already have SP4+Updates or will they simply
ignore the update?
Thanks,
Chris
Am debating weather to roll it out though as I have no idea how long it will
take to install via this method, nor what the performance hit to the PCs
will be....
I'm assuming they will ignore the service pack if they already have it, n
the same way they ignore other updates.
