[Ranma][Fanfic] Trapped

This fic was the result of a challenge on FFML to write a story
using only one-syllable words. This is trickier than it sounds, since so
many names are two or more syllables. I guess it really qualifies as a
form of poetry. Hope you like it!
Ranma 1/2 and its associated characters were created by Rumiko
Takahashi, and no infringement is intended.

TRAPPED

He does not love me back. Three years now, and it still wounds
me. I was his best choice, I was so sure of that. I thought he would
come to love me if he had the chance. I gave him that chance by my plan,
so we were wed.
Our move, to flee her kin and his, should have made him close to
me. But I hear him weep and call her name in his sleep. She has his
love, not me. Our child moves in my womb, and I fear for it. He does
not love me, will he hate our babe?
Should I cut my hair short, strike him like she did, cook bad
food? Would that make him love me, or yearn for her more? Cold tears
run down my cheeks, for I am caught in my own snare and can not flee.
