My problem.

If I have a sheet and insert a comments box within a row,
stretching out the row to accomadate the comments box.
Then I go and highlight rows including comments box row
and paste it on another sheet.
Why does the comments box not stay where it was originaly
placed in the previous sheet and how do (if possible),
anchore the comments box and the stretched row?

Thanks for reading me

I don't know of a way to make comments stay in place when you paste them
to a different location. You could try repositioning them with a macro
similar to the following:

Sub PostionComments()
Dim cmt As Comment
For Each cmt In ActiveSheet.Comments
With cmt.Shape
.Top = cmt.Parent.Top + 5
.Left = cmt.Parent.Left + _
cmt.Parent.Width + 5
End With
Next
End Sub

Thankyou Debra Dalgleish.

I had a funny feeling the response would come in the form
of a Macro, you see, I am not that literate with Excel to
have used Macro's, but, it looks like I am due to learn
how to make and implement one of those things!!

Many thanks once again

You may want to read David McRitchie's intro to macros at:
