Hi everyone.

The more I read of your posts, Jim, I fondly ;o} recall the last time
Groves came to visit.

He responded to posts with answers that took some statements 'out of
context'. Therefore, his answers ignored the posts to which he was
responding.
When he included the 'out of context' statements in his response, he
hadn't read them right, therefore, his answers were absolutely
inappropriate.
He resorted to 'personal' unkind comments when he could not respond to
the statements made.
When challenged about his use of legal terms and issues, he whined about
the legal system.

Your "threat" of the return of Groves is interesting. Those of us that
were here, or me at least, do not remember that Groves was actually very
threatening. More of a thorn in our side. But only for a little bit.
Groves did not last long on this newsgroup.

Seems that Groves has more computer problems than I do. And I am
self-admitted computer challenged!

Hi Judy,

I used Groves' name as a tool to keep Beav talking to me. I found he got
freaked out about Groves' name early in our conflict. So I used it to
distract Beav while I gathered more data. At one point, I did call Groves on
the phone and tell him to watch the "Dear Beav" thread (wanted to make good
on the promise). He said he was too busy fixing software problems and would
not be able to help. This turned out better anyway. The thread was more
controlled without him.

Next, I agree that he jams the gears in any organization he comes in contact
with. Even now, he trys to convert me to beef insulin when we see each
other. But I'm stable and happy with what I'm doing so I blow him off. This
causes some friction but it ends in a few minutes and then we get something
productive done.

Now that you know I want to keep Groves away from the public, just email me
if he shows and I'll help to move him on to his official duties. I'll
probably set up a thread to suck him in, embarrass him in public and this
will get him out of mhd for awhile. The only fur flying will be ours in that
single thread.

Next, when I came in early December, I was only interested in Novolog
information. But I'm an opportunist and found ways to blend several goals
into the convoluted conflict with Beav. I also hope you see how specific the
conflict was and that (hopefully) nobody else got hurt in the process.

You should also realize how deliberate and methodical I am by now. If a side
argument will not help to achieve the goal, it gets shutdown.

Sorry to upset everybody, my mission is over, thanks,

Well, Jim, sorry, but this is weird. Beav will keep talking to us. All you have
to do is choose a topic that is interesting. Or identify a topic that is
something about which Beav feels knowledgeable. No need to 'use' anything. As
your experience on this group will show, many of us read all of the posts. And
we answer only those that we feel we can be of help, either with knowledge or
understanding, or sometimes humor.

Again, this is not '007' stuff. If there is data that you need, just ask. If it
is none of your business, you will know. If it is harmless personal info, you
will probably learn more than you need. If, however, you are looking only for
some amusement, you should sit back and just read.

Controlled? In what sense? I apologize if this offends you, but you were
jumping around like a dual-personality off their meds. You probably will claim
that this was planned. No need. This group includes humans from every walk of
life, every intelligence level, and every humor level. Seldom can anyone fool
all of us, either most of the time or all of the time.

This is called maturity. Most of us have learned this lesson long ago. Those of
us that haven't, well, this group will gladly help us reach the goal.

I would think, from a representative (either volunteer or paid) standpoint, that
it would be to your benefit to identify Dave's strong points and help him to
develop those points. He does get attention. He is fervent in his desires.
There is a gold mine there, if you know how to use it. But therein lies the
key. I don't know your age, but I sure as hell feel like my mother here. Sorry.

Absolutely no need. We enjoy a good discussion. Dave's presence seems to always
guarantee this.

Please don't. I always favor the underdog. And I really don't know how I will
sleep given my feeling of favor versus my feeling of righteousness. ;o}

Yes, I can see it. However, the 'hurt' may come about because we, most of us,
read all of the threads. And some of us are long-time friends. Internet
friends, maybe, but still friends. And, as with all good friends, we monitor if
any of us need anything. Even when we don't need the help (as with Beav) we may
jump in just for the support.

> You should also realize how deliberate and methodical I am by now.

I am not sure that I do.

Claiming control of all the threads on this group?

> Sorry to upset everybody, my mission is over, thanks,

Dang, Jim. relax already. Mission? methodical? use? deliberate? We are all
trying to get through this. But none of us will survive any longer than our
bodies hold out. I mean it, relax. View us as your 'soon to be' friends. No
need to use, or manipulate, or any of the other 'intimidation' type terms you
choose to use. (Some of us have had some pretty strong manipulators try in the
past. We came away stronger. I am not only speaking of the group, here.)

There is enough knowledge and experience on this group to satisfy an encyclopedia
writer! Sit back and revel in it.

Sorry, again, for sounding like my mom.

Thanks Judy,

I can always use another! This is just to say I read your post. To give
Beav alittle more insight: Two years before my father passed on, he started
a living room ruckus with his 3 boys. So you have 4 males nipping at each
other simultaneously. The one who falls behind gets clobbered by the other
three. Crap flies around the room so fast that the women get mesmerized. My
father won (we let him). His flag was flying high that day.

OK. When I post, I usually have very specific goals in mind. If somebody
gets in the way, I let them know and try to bailout of the entanglement. But
Beav is different. If you don't make a stand, he'll continue to bother you.
So like Custer, I made a stand and we gathered a lot of intelligence about
each other. In short, I've constructed a model of his mental processes based
on people in my past (countless as an army brat). So I know roughly where
he's going before I post. So I have a counter in place at the time I post in
anticipation of problems. This psych-profiling method is finely honed (I
give you open-ended questions and you pick the path, this is a connect the
dots algorithm that results in a psych model, the more posting the better for
the model). It should be clear that it only took 3 threads to circumvent
him.

The "control" was only for the "Dear Beav," thread. It tested hypotheses I
constructed about Beav's psyche. So I wasn't interested in all the threads.

I'm 47 yo BTW. Thanks,
