Hi,

Can anyone help me with this.

I have absolutely no idea what I've done but Opera has gotten slow. Not
necessarily page loading, but more along the lines of this. Everytime that I
try to delete an e-mial, by hitting delete, it takes at least a full 10-15
seconds to actually register and go to my trash. As well, it's load time has
almost hit 1 minute at times.

I have no idea what I've done, but I need help, and badly!

TIA

First, trying emptying all your cache and history, then start again
and see if that makes any difference. After that try:

- switching "synch dns" on or off or vice versa.
- check that your opera connections setting are reasonable (try 4
connects, 10 max)
- in email, empty the trash. I've got 8k emails in trash and
pressing delete on a fresh email is instantenous. Holding down
delete, dumps emails at about 5 per second.
- reduce your opera ram usage. Turn off "auto ram" and set the
defaults to 1meg docs 2meg images.
- fresh out of ideas...

I think I love you! You just solved all my problems! Opera 5.1 is now
loading fast as ever. E-mails are deleted at theblink of an eye, and all
becasue of you! I have no idea what part did it, but it was all good info!
Thanks so very much, I owe you one!

Thanks once again,

Have a look in your mailboxes. Perhaps some are bursting.
