No, they don't. They're useless, period.

I could print one on computer papaer using my printer and tape it to the
back of my phone and it would have the same result.....

They are totally useless....It's a scam.

Go here:
http://cellantenna.com/Antennas/magneticmount.htm
Buy the bottom antenna, the SEM38M
then go here:
http://cellantenna.com/Boosters/da4000.htm
and buy the 25 db linear amplifier WHICH IS LEGAL, FCC approved and
puts out a maximum of 3 whole watts!
Tell CellAntenna not to send them unless they change the connector on
the antenna to a mini-UHF to fit the amplifier and include the antenna
adapter AND A 3' JUMPER CABLE between the phone adapter and the
amplifier.

I've been using the DA4000 and SEM38M out in the boondocks of AMPS
service in South Carolina with a CDMA Motorola V60i toy telephone.
Having POWER (Remember - Power IS our friend) and a decent antenna
that isn't useless like the one on the phone, makes all the difference
in the car. GSM works on it, too.....

Caution - Turning the amp to OFF does NOT bypass the amp and hook the
phone straight to the antenna. If you are in a good area, just unplug
the amp and use the crappy antenna on your phone.....

The difference? I can be in an area where there is no service from
Verizon, Alltel or Sprint PCS on either 800 or 1900 Mhz that the phone
will lock onto. (The amp and antenna work on BOTH bands automatically
and amplify in BOTH directions.) Plug into the amp/antenna combo and
get a perfect connection with nearly full scale signal and be able to
drive around without dropping a call in most areas......(c;
