Sylvania DVL-1000 DVD Player

Over at 800.com I can get this DVD player for $149 shipped. If you
minus another $25 rebate from BrandsForLess, that makes the grand total
$125 for a brand new DVD player. Does anybody have any infomation on
this player? I researched and found that Sylvania is part of the Funai
Corporation, which also makes Funai and Symphonic equipment. Although
they make cheap stuff, I do have friends that have purchased some of the
Symphonic brand stuff with ok results. Any feedback or suggestions
would be appreciated!
