Hi. I just got an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon video card, and it works just
fine. Right now, I have my Sony Camcorder plugged into it. I've played with
it for a while, using it on the computer. I'd like to use it with NetMeeting
(I have version 3.01, and the latest drivers for my video card), but under
Tools\Options\Video\Video camera properties, the only video capture device
is my USB camera (I have a generic camera). It doesn't show the ATI Rage
Theater Video (or whatever that video capture device is called). I'd like to
know how to use my Sony camcorder that's plugged into my All-In-Wonder
Radeon. Thanks in advance.

I have just about the same problem. My video card is an ATI Rage Fury Pro
and I have a seperate ATI-TV Wonder card. I connected my Panosonic camcoder
to the TV Wonder's VIDEO-IN but my NetMeeting's "Tools" -> "Options" ->
"Video" -> "Video Camera Properties" -> "The video capture device I want to
use is" button is grayed out so I can not choose my video source. I do
notice that NetMeeeting sometimes (yes sometimes, not every time) displays
"Using ATI Rage Theater Video" when it starts. Perhaps I am missing some
driver software for my video and/or TV card(s) to support NetMeeting?

Yesterday, I uninstalled ATI's Multimedia Center, downloaded and installed
the latest one - but don't do it. My TV tuner and lots of other ATI stuff
wouldn't work - but I uninstalled it and installed the Multimedia Center on
the ATI CD, and it worked again, but still, NetMeeting still did the same
thing.

I talked to ATI about this. They say that the video in function appears to have
a bug in it and they are 'working on a fix'. I asked them to please just send me
something that worked as promised but they didn't respond.

I called ATI about a similar problem with the Radeon 64 VIVO. They did
respond that there was a problem but had no fix for it yet. Also, I believe
and correct me if I'm wrong, but, MS is no longer supporting netmeeting
beyond 3.01. If that is the case, why would a company invest in drivers to
support something that will no longer be available or supported.

Geez people, this is so lame..

ATI does not support Video For Windows (required by NM) anymore.
MS needs to release a DirectView Netmeeting or you
are all up the creek!
ATI will not develop the driver. Say hello to ATI everyone..

Bye..
