which you have tried to resuscitate about a dozen times. The problem I described
with hooking-up subwoofers to receivers is nothing to do with me, but a result of a
mistake in the design of the systems. I quickly found this out once I
researched the problem, which was new to me at the time. I then designed my
own answer. There are in fact no *direct* answers to the problem I described: none
of those I was given on the group was useful in my context, and several of them
were incorrect in all contexts.

What part of "I don't want to bother your wife while she's busy at
work" are you having trouble with? Why do you think she wants someone
she doesn't know calling her up in the middle of her work day to ask
her whether its true or not that her rheumatoid arthritis is in
remission? And please explain to me why on earth would there be a
"trace" on your wife's work phone?? Have there been a lot of death
threats against her recently? Are the death threats related to you
perhaps? ;-) That might explain things! Just give me her email
address, I'm sure she'd appreciate that
If you don't want to give me her email address, at least give me a
good reason why not, because I can't think of one, since you gave me
her personal phone no. at work. That's usually considered to be a lot
more private, by "normal people standards". And if you won't give me
her email address, then I'll consider calling her at work. Perhaps you
can tell me what kind of work does she do? What's her position in her
company? That will help me decide whether or not I should try to
bother her during her work hours.
