It's evil. I take it you're using the command line tool to set up the FP
extensions on a site ?
It's quite picky about the way it takes the commands via the command
line tool.
Here's the stuff I use in a script to set things up.
'set up the extensions first off.
fpsrvadm -o install -t msiis -p 80 -m InstanceNumber -u Username
'give the account holder author permissions only
fpsrvadm -o security -t msiis -p 80 -m InstanceNumber -u Username -a
authors -w ""
Replace InstanceNumber with, well, you know, the instance number of the
website you want to install the extensions on. Username is the nt
account that you want to be able to edit with.
This'll setup the extensions and give the particular username (customers
username) author access only ( not administrator 'cause otherwise they
can mess around with the NTFS file permissions and break things :)
Hope this helps

Oops, my information relates to IIS4 and NT4... I don't know how well it
will work under 2000. I didn't spot that IIS5 bit at the begining :)
