I'm sad to say that Linda Goff passed away... She will be much missed.

This info was sent to me by Lee Radkte, current President of the NPCG, and I
wanted to post it here:

" I am saddened to tell you that Linda Goff of the NWPCG passed away last
night (5-6-03) after a valiant fight with leukemia. I got the news from
Judy Kuskin, and had written to Linda's husband twice recently. Maggie
Maggio had told us of the diagnosis which came at the end of March. For
those of you who did not know Linda, she is the artist who was known for
animal pins with an outline of wire and beads. She was the chair for
Ravensdale, was very active there, and will be much missed by her friends."

Those of us who knew Linda mourn her loss deeply ... and celebrate
having known this creative and special artist, teacher, mentor and
friend.

Linda (still very much beyond words about this all)

A slight correction.....Linda Goff was our Program Chair for Ravensdale
2003. Besides being a great polymer clay artist she was also a great
graphic designer. She was responsible for our Ravensdale 2003 postcard and
also had done the postcard for The Muse 2002. Linda was just such a
wonderful person. She never had a nasty word to say about anyone. Working
with her on committee of any kind was a great pleasure. She would sit there
quietly while several of us would be discussing something back and forth.
Finally she would say something about what we were talking about and her
comments were always correct.

The Northwest Polymer Clay Guilds annual clay camp is this coming
weekend and Linda will be missed. She was always there. She will be there
in spirit and in our hearts.
