Belisha Beacons

In our town there is an uneasy silence between two volatile parties. On
one side of the chasm is the traditional resident; quiet, well mannered,
pleasant. On the other side there is the new generation ; loud,
obnoxious, drunk, violent.
And the question is where these bastard Thatcher children have crawled
from? Why has a generation turned sour in this small town? Is it the
drugs, the sex, the violent TV? Is it the Labour Parties fault?
Sure. That's what most people believe, sadly enough.
They have been vandalising Belisha Beacons recently, so I thought I'd
catch them at it, so I set up a video surveillance unit and went to bed.
In the morning I watched the footage - drunken dickheads intimidating
motorists, and violently vandalising the just repaired belisha beacons.
And it was then it hit me. Scavenger ethics, Tory ethics. Get what the
fuck you can and screw everyone else.
So then the police turn up, and do absolutely nothing. They just let the
little bastards walk away. And I sip my tea, and think, "Wonder if the
LAPD would like a holiday?".
