I am not using any resources from a network server or anything. I am
running a standalone installation with all templates, documents, etc. on the
local drive. I use the network adapter for internet access alone. I am up
to date on all updates, patches, etc. Please email me any responses you
have.

Thanks for the info. I think that this is something Corel should fix. Do
you know if they are working on it? What if I want to work with my laptop
away from the actual printer? Will Corel see the printer not hooked up even
in print to file mode and malfunction?
Thanks for the reply.

Windows NT can't report printer driver details to Draw without printer
actually connected, so this is Windows NT problem, not Corel. Just
set your system default printer To File in Printers folder or set system
default printer to any local device, such as Fax on Win2K or Distiller.
