Attempts to download the RRAS installer, from Microsoft's website, results
in a message that states "The wizard you are looking for is no longer
available?"

Does anyone know of a WORKING URL, where I can find this download?

I finally managed to dig up what appears to be the correct link by manually
playing with URLs, instead of using links. Try:

http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/winfeatures/rras/rrasdown.asp

I also have been looking for rras at that link (which no longer works), and
was informed my microsoft.com, "We apologize for the inconvenience but the
download for Routing and Remote Access Service has expired as of 01 August
2000 and is no longer available."

Is rras on a CD that is currently available?

I have been emailing support at microsoft.com , and they reply, "We

apologize for the inconvenience but the download for Routing and Remote
Access Service has expired as of 01 August 2000 and is no longer available.
If you need any further assistance, please fell free to contact us again."

Would anyone be aware whether rras available on a cd-rom?

Can I assume you've tried the link below and it fails, at some point?

It is also on the 'Server Tools' TechNet CD.

In reply to your question -- yes.

There are links all over microsoft.com for rras, but they are all coming up
at the same dead end.

I have been avoiding purchasing TechNet, but that is proving to be false
economy.

Many thanks.

Interesting. The link worked a couple of days ago, but it no longer does.
This could be just more of the standard foul-ups on MS's site or MS could
be playing another of their famous games to force people to upgrade to the
next OS (W2k), by cutting off support for the existing OS W2k). If the
latter is the case, I suspect RRAS won't be in the next TechNet release
either.

Sorry I can't be more help on this.
