are there any unique staves in the game?

I have found unique objects for all of the other types
(swords,bows,armor,amulet,ring...)

elso, has anyone seen armor of the Zodiac? (I've found
a ring and an amulet...)

I know of one, 75 charge lightening staff called Thundercall (or
something like that). I got it after pummeling a named Steel Lord into
the ground. :)

Yep, "Thundercall" - chance to hit +35%, lightning damage 1-10, resist
lightning +30%, +20% light.

Other unique staves:

"Storm Spire" - +50% resist lightning, lightning damage 2-8, +10
strength, -10 magic;

"Rod of Onan" - 50 Golem charges, +100% damage, +5 to all attributes.

"Gleamsong" - +25 mana, -3 strength, -3 vitality, 76 phasing charges.

See my FAQ for more details (posted separately)

I've actually seen a few. I found Immolator, forget what all it
had, did like 2-16 dam plus 1-6 fire damage. + to mana, I think. Also
found Storm Strike I think it was called. Beatiful weapon. +50%
lightning resistance, 8-16 dam + 1-10 lightning damage. Only problen was
it was -10 magic, so my mage didnt want it. A fighter could use it tho.

Because of the legends still adhereing to the objects known as
"Smith and Wessons," I find that valuable shocks can be administered by
pressing the "muzzle" of one such object against a patient's temple, and
then ritualistically pulling the "trigger." I have here a specimen that
has been perfectly preserved through the millenia. Now, watch the
patient...

Rod of Onan -- 8-16 +100% damage plus 55 golem charges. The Protector -- a
ton of heals and + 40 mana and something else I can't remember. It only did
2-4 pts of damage though.

Yes, there are unique staves. Found one while playing battle.net
yesterday, it wasn't that good though so I sold it.

Another one is called the Protector. Does damage to attackers and
increases armour, amongst other things.

I found one too: Rod of Onan +5 All, 8-16 Dam +100%, 50 Golem charges. I
traded it away with two good swords for Obs Ring of Zodiac (guy *claimed*
it wasn't duped ring)...

Shouldn't the Rod of Onan only be available in single player games? ;-)

Actually the best one I found wasn't even unique... it did 8-16 regular
damage +2-20 lightning hit damage and had like 60 charges of lighting....
I think it had some +resist or +mana too...

On the subject of unique staves, one I found as a rogue I particularly
like. It is called Mindcry and has 69 guardian charges. Since
casting spells as a rogue was costly, it was fun to use this to cast
tons of guardians to soften up a room before I went in and shot 'em
all down.

Mindcry is the best of em. I just found one tonight in NM hell called
"ThunderCall". Not great, but looks fun.

It's hard to beat a King's Staff of Chain Lightning or Stonecurse. You get
all the nice plusses to hit and do damage if you use it as a weapon, and
they usually do more base damage than a normal staff. Then you get the
spells.

Any archangel's staff is pretty nice too with it's + 2 spell levels.

Please, a mage fighting with a staff is sad! :) You're better off
getting some other enchantment on it other than King's. I wouldn't
mind having an archangel's of apocalypse, however. As a mage I just
got an Obsidian of Apocalypse. Pretty funny to take out Laz's room
from the other side of the wall, but FAR too expensive to recharge.
My Mindcry has 69 charges of guardian and costs less than 1000 to
recharge when it hits 0, the Apocalypse staff I have costs 4000 for 11
charges. I'd hate to see what a Bountiful costs to recharge.

There's one called the Rod of Ronan. Gives +100% damage, 50 charges of golems,
and some other stuff I forget.

That's Rod of "onan". +5 all attributes in addition to the abilities you
mentioned.

Just got it last night, as I recall it does 1-6 point of fire
damage, resists fire either 20 or 30, might cast a few fire-related
spells. All in all, not an impressive piece of equipment.

I've got Dreamflange, it's not a staff, but it's one of the best items
for a mage. It gives +30 magic, +50 mana, 50% magic resistance, and 10%
light radius. And it's a one-handed club.
