We have an app that needs to be updated nightly, but unfortunately, nearly
always,
some user leave the app running which makes the file update impossible
unless someone
is around to run Server manager and shutdown the open files.
We would like a script of some kind that would
1. Automatically close any open files in a particular folder
2. Copy the new versions of these files from a temp folder to the new
folder.
Can this be done? Or perhaps is there a way to simply log everyone off
automatically at a certain time of day as you can with RAS? We have
experimented with NET STOP and it doesn't work.
Thanks!
