I want to install embedded WinXP to a special computer, can anybody tell me
the system requirement(CPU and it's speed, memory, hard drive space...) for
EmbeddedXP?
Thank you!
Hong
This site should answer your questions about XPE:

If it's the tools, check the link in my other post.
If it's a run-time image, often, these requirements are the other way
around. The system hardware defines the scope of the run-time image. You
can deploy your run-time image on a variety of hardware, from 128 MB Flash
to 10 GB disks.
The amount of RAM required is dependent on the applications you are running
and XPE features you are using. For example, if you are running EWF
(Enhanced Write Filter), a good rule of thumb is that RAM should be twice
the size of your run-time image. The amount of RAM and the speed of your
CPU will affect performance.
Here's a good article on footprint configuration:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Embedded/xp/techinfo/develop/footprint/intro.asp
and a good walkthrough on building a run-time:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Embedded/xp/techinfo/howto/stepguide/default.asp
tks,
Dan

However, the smaller you make your image, the less resource you'll need.
