It turns out that the default setting on the board when it arrived was
2.65V, supposedly to make the system more stable. Unfortunately, my system
had applications crashing ALL the time. When I re-jumpered it to 2.5V, which
seemed to be recommended voltage on other memory sites on the web, the
problems dissapeared. I know have a great stable system.

It just seemed that if chip vendors were saying they spec'ed 2.5v I should
give it a try. And it worked.
