anyone know where I can find this type of jockstrap

I'm trying to find out if anyone knows where i can buy a jockstrap
called US Jock. I've seen it in pictures but I live in Nova Scotia
Canada and haven't seen it around here anywhere. The US Jock had its
straps attached to each side of the jock pouch instead of meeting in
the middle like most other jockstraps do.

I would appreciate it if anyone could leave a note posted to the group
concerning this matter.

Hmm... The only US JOCK brand I've ever seen is on stuff you can buy from UNDERGEAR in
San Diego. There was also a shop in Toronto (unfortunately I've forgotten the name)
which carried some International Male/UNDERGEAR stuff so you wouldn't have to deal with
customs and duties. How long ago and where did you see pictures of it? I don't recall
a US JOCK with leg straps. The ones in UNDERGEAR are jock/briefs (and were at one time
a rather good fit especially under jeans and shorts).

I have a couple of these. The ad sounds nice, but they aren't the most
comfortable thing in the world. Interestingly enough, I have never seen
anyone else wear one at the gym. Anyone else have similar experiences?

I have ONE rather well-used US JOCK model! From previous posts on the
subject I waould say that it is probably now out of production. I like
the US JOCK for casual wear under 501s etc.so I'd be interested to hear
from anyone with a SOURCE as well. In the meantime, why don't we meet
for a <show & tell>. I'm in Cape Breton, where are you? I travel
frequently to Halifax.

I wouldn't wear the US JOCK to the gym either! NO support. Just an
all-cotton jock with a free-hanging, comfortable pouch. I find it ideal
for under 501s or summer shorts. Keeps things <in order> but still nice
and loose -- therefore cool, and just enuf <bounce> to feel good jogging
or running!

I have the IM Fall'96 catalog on my desk as I key this reply.
US JOCK is NOT in the current catalog, and if my jock-fixated memory
serves me correctly it's at least a couple of YEARS since the US JOCK
jock disappeared from the IM catalog. Unfortunate, but true!

JIST MAKE SURE YOU'RE GITTIN A "U.S. JOCK" *JOCKSTRAP*. NOT THE JOCK-BRIEF
OR THE JOCK-SOC(SP?) THAT BOTH CARRY, I THINK, THE "U.S." LABEL. THE
JOCKSTRAP HAS A WIDE WAISTBAND AND A SUPERSTRETCHY POUCH (UNLIKE
TRADITIONAL JOCK POUCHES).

Not true, O Jockbear. I just recently ordered one from IM last month.
And it was still in stock. So call IM and ask about the availability of
it. Doubt that they've run out.
