The problem is with the database - not Windows.

The problem is not with Access or Windows. Its with the database
file. A portion of the file that stores permission information (ie,
in the system table MSysAces) has been damaged, and so JEt can not get
permission to read objects it needs to read in order to open the file.
The good news is that your tables and their data are probably
completely recoverable. The (possibly) bad news is that the
'MSysAccessObjects' system table stores information needed for
application objects (forms, reports, modules, etc) and it is possible
that these application objects may not be recoverable completely.
If you wish, send the file in (see our website for details) and we'll
recover it for you.
