Also, it seems that there are a lot of shareware
Zaurus programs available in Japan. The japanese
Zaurii seemed to be named differently i.e. PI 5000 etc.
Does anybody know the equivalent product numbers for
the japanese and american versions?

Received this from a friendly guy in Japan:
--------------------
Comparing Japanese version PI-6000 and U.S. version ZR-5000FX
(Sorry, the spec of U.S. Zaurus is a little old.)
Japanese U.S.
CPU: 8bit * 2 16bit
display: 239x168 320x240
interface: Pen only Pen and keyboard
weight: 195g 385g
card slot: exclusive PCMCIA
utility: dictionaries
(Japanese,
Japanese->English,
English->Japanese)
I don't know why Sharp named both of them Zaurus!
The advantage of Japanese version are its weight and Japanese
utilities. If you don't use Japanse, U.S. version may be better :-)
