No such thing happened. I have known Karen Birkedahl for two years, as
is proven by the photograph of her and me together which has been
posted on my website for two years at

That photograph was taken by her mother and presented to me as a gift.
In addition, I had my girlfriend Kayo with me at the US Amateur Team
Championship East and it is unlikely that I would have picked that
time to make a pass at a woman who I already knew just because we had
been paired to play a chess match against each other.

I question his existence, even though I've seen photos purporting to be of
him. I like the tongue-in-cheek humor of that boast, though. I'm certainly
no match for Spam in the Number of Wives race, but my cat can blitz a
chessboard like an F5 tornado in a trailer park.
