Installed under WIN XP with the XP drivers from creative website, query
under modem diagnostics is fine, has problem picking up line. When you
dial, takes about 5 tries before it will go on hook, most of the time just
sits there and when you pick up phone in house you have the dial tone.
Connect fine when it does. If you have XP recognize it as the Generic HCF
modem, there is no problem with the dialing, only with the XP drivers that
cause it to be recognized as the DI5633.

I wonder if it is a common problem with XP drivers as I had a Zoom V.92 that
did the same thing and Zoom support was no help, returned the Zoom and got
this one and same type of problem.
