Can you be a little more specific? Was your machine or user domain account
deleted? If you right-click My Computer and go to Properties>Advanced>User
Profiles - Settings>What profiles do you see there? Do you still see your
profile present in c:\documents and settings ?

1) First, it is a generally good idea to save the user’s local profile
from the old account to a safe location. This will ensure that any
accidental deletion of the profile can be recovered from the backup.
2) Determine the profile directory under Documents and Settings for the
new user account. This will be the destination directory for copying the
old profile.
3) On the client, use the Profiles interface (My
Computer->Properties->Advanced->User Profiles->Settings) to select the
profile, perform a ‘copy to’ action, and ensure that the Everyone group is
granted
permissions to use the copied profile. Please ensure that these actions
are performed while logged on with the administrator account.
4) Copy the profile to the destination directory located in step 1. This
can be done manually or directly as the destination directory of step 3.
5) Attempt to logon as the new user account and test the functionality of
the restored profile.
In the event that the old profile is not listed on the client machine, step
3 can be replaced with manually editing the registry file NTUSER.DAT using
the REGEDIT tool. Load the hive (the NTUSER.DAT of the old user profile),
select this hive that was imported, and using the security option, change
the permissions to give Everyone full control and allow permissions to
replace on subobjects (in the advanced option).
These steps are use at your own risk, so please be sure you have a good
working backup before trying them.
