Enlarging fonts on links when clicking them - looks ugly

Hi there,

Few weeks ago I started to have this special effect in Internet
Explorer 6SP1 under WindowsXP SP1. I can't track it back in time with
respect to what was changed on this computer.

Anyway, what happens is that when I click on a link, the font of the
link becomes larger, and so the whole thing looks pretty ugly. Since I
am on dialup, I can see that for a few seconds before the page is
replaced by the linked page. Also, sometimes when I am waiting for the
page to switch to the link, and move the mouse over other things,
those fonts also become enlarged.

Even something as simple as the following page
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=microsoft.public.internetexplorer
has these problems, i.e. clicking on the names of the groups at the
top of the page makes the font bigger before it goes to the actual
link.

Any idea what might be going on here?
