Using S video on TV. All works good. But when I try to play AVI on windows
Media player the picture on the tv is black. Ok on the my LCD.I have
lastest drivers. Using 5900XT.

Try disabling the video overlay. Video can be handled using it's own frmae
buffer called the video overlay. This may not be overlaying the second
cloned output, only the primary.

It's likely due to copyright protection. You could be plugging it right into
a VCR or DVD recorder.
You may need to search for ways to 'hack" it to solve the problem.
