"Davy Jones... greatest tambourine player of all time, right?!"

-- Unidentified stand-up comedian seen through a haze
of gin & tonics.

Lately I've started thinking more and more about this. Could Davy
really be the mark to which all other tambourinists aspire? What about
Ringo? Tracy Partridge? Jeff "Mono Man" Connaly (from The Lyres)?

Just who IS the greatest tambourine player of all time?

Please MAIL your votes. Some suggested catagories:

1. All-time best
2. Best living
3. Best live-performance
4. Best studio-performance
5. Most acrobatic

Be sure to include a vote for catagory #1, #2-5 or your own catagories
at your own whim. Summary in awhile.

Answer: Zil Banthrop, tamburinist with Toejam Jawallaby's band. He hit notes
with his tambourine that no one has ever reached.
