skip of dawn and skip we have been keeping orchids colectively for 4 or 5
years. we work at a comercial orchid house part time, kinda like an
apprentiship(we work for media and specimens). we make our living running an
aquarium maintenance service. where i have over 30 years of exp. and a ms in
marine biology. indoor lighting is a specialty, for tanks as well as
orchids.we find palidariums fascinating also(a mixture of aquariums and semi
dry plantings). we keep 25 to 30 different specimens of various genus of
orchids (to numerous and esoteric to mention) and would love to hear from
others especialy others in tn. we are in the process of building our first
of many greenhouses dedicated to our orchids and other exotic foliage.

Ah yes, you have 25-30 esoteric orchids... you have chosen the right place
to enter the Lurkness. I myself have prescribed to the esoteric teachings
of Gurdjeff and PD Ouspensky for years in cultivating my esoteric orchids.
I no longer prefer to be involved with mesoteric or exoteric orchids... for
me only esoteric orchids will do. Welcome to the wonderful world of RGO.

Unlike St. Paul, however, Ouspensky eventually lost faith in his master.
Perhaps as his answer to Gurdjieff's Institute for the Harmonious
Development of Man, Ouspensky founded the Society for the Study of Normal
Man and developed his own following. Ouspensky is likely to remain a
favorite among New Agers since he wrote books with titles like The symbolism
of the tarot : philosophy of occultism in pictures and numbers and Tertium
Organum: the third canon of thought: a key to the enigmas of the world, an
attempt to reconcile the mysticism of the east with the rationalism of the

year after college.
But by your mention of The Fourth Way... hmm, you obviously know more than
the average bear (or outer space alien).
The rare occurrence of three PD Ouspensky esoteric students on one newsgroup
could summon up unstoppable overpowering forces from the depths of
Lurkerdom. We must pray that Dr Gonzo is not a whirling dervish and that he
knows not of Gurdjieff/Ouspensky else all members on RGO shall be drawn into
the white light to account for super expensive orchids "fried" or "lost"
(eg, in the southeast window). These tales would be told in the first
person and scare the bejeebers out of all who dare click on this future
thread. I myself fried one of those super expensive Paphiopedilum thingies
just last week in a careless moment when I let my mind drift out of the
awake state (as PD had so often spoke of) to foolishly check out closer the
full cans on one cute young watercangirl in the greenhouse.
Such revelations would cause newbies to gasp & choke... and set the orchid
bio-clock back to the of era of Sanders & Denise from this present time.
So let us all hold hands and do the hokey pokey in unison to calm these slow
rising forces, Or, pray one good scary story of orchid death and destruction
from Reka or Kye will appease the growing esoteric white light drawing us
inward... I know those two can scare me well enough just in regular mode.
