Just got back form the public scale, and my 01 TJ with my 155 lbs buddy setting
in it 3490 lbs
No top or gear , and full tank of gas
01 sahara D44 but outher wise stock (for now)
give it time,
Sorry about the spelling, I'm Dyslexic
Take out the "XXX" to e-mail me
Really? Mine weighed 4200 pounds, top on, boss ridin' shotgun, half tank of gas
... and that was before the BP front and rear bumpers and Kilby gas tank skid went
on. It's probably right around 4400 now.
Tom
4200 less 200 lbs boss less 200 lbs hard top were in the ball park
were with in 500 of eachouther. 50lbs gass down to 450?
> how much did boss weigh?
I'd guess she goes about 130.

Hard top goes closer to 150 .. I can't no how no way military press 200
but I handle the top ok by myself.

The other thing is little stuff adds up. Tools only weigh maybe 30.
High
lift somewhere in there. Doesn't seem like much but they sneak up on
you
and my jeep is never empty unless I'm in it cleaning.

That's what I used, a certified truck scale. Since he didn't have to do
any paperwork or print out the official weight ticket, I think I gave
him $2 to weigh my TJ. I was surprised when it said exactly 4,100
lbs... maybe it rounds to the nearest 100 lb. increment, I don't know
though.
