Best level for dire charm?

[John Gordon]

I have a 60th level Enchanter who is slowly working towards getting
Dire Charm. Since DC has a level 46 cap, I'd like to take advantage
of the /con system to help me determine what mobs are DCable.

What level should I be such that L46 mobs will /con as light blue,
and L47 mobs will be dark blue? I'm thinking probably L61 or L62,
but I don't know exactly how rounding is done...

Unfortunately post-60 it's not the same as 1-60.

From 1-60 it's player_level * 3/4 rounded down
for DB and player_level * 2/3 rounded down for Cyan.

At 60 a level 45+ mob is DB, 40-44 is Cyan.

However, at 65 the DB range is 50-65 is DB,
45-49 is LB

So, it's possible that they simply hold the 15 level
difference from 60-65.

I believe that is the case, which makes level 62 ideal for dire charm in
so far as conning is concerned. If it's lt blue or green, it is dire
charmable, otherwise, it is not.
