The story so far.
He had two partitions using FAT16. One of approx 1.9GB and other
approx 100MB. The first and larger partition was the primary and
active .... every thing was working fine.
The Act
Being a bit of an experimentor he decided to play around in FDISK. He
was not worried about data loss, and was planning on reconfiguring his
h/d. He ran FDISK and deleted (from what I understand) the primary
partition. He then exited from FDISK leaving the smaller and extended
logical partition present.
The problem
He can now NO longer run FDISK. It exits with an error (something
like) ..... Error reading the fixed disk. However if he boots off
floppy he has a C: drive of approx 100MB.
Do you know where his 1.9GB has gone and how he can manage to get
FDISK to run again on his system, allowing him to retreive the lost
disk space!!?
Thanks Steve
